Both games played by the Stillman College softball teams came down to the wire as big hits, including a walk-off grand slam led to a doubleheader sweep for the Lady Tigers over the University of Tennessee Southern Firehawks Monday evening at the Stillman Softball Complex. Stillman won the first game 8-7 and the second contest 10-7.

The Stillman College baseball team battled with the visiting Voorhees Tigers in an HBCU Athletic Conference doubleheader at Tiger Field. In the end, Stillman split the day after losing the first game 16-15 but winning the second contest 5-4. The win meant the first conference series win for Stillman.

The opening day of the William Carey University Invite did not go the way of the Stillman College softball team as the Lady Tigers dropped both contests on the first day of the event. Stillman fell in eight innings to the Georgetown College Tigers and dropped the nightcap to the hosting Lady Crusaders 6-1 Friday night.
