Box Score TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - Stillman College women's volleyball fell in three sets to defending conference champions Talladega College on Tuesday, 25-8, 25-16 and 25-9, in Birthright Alumni Hall.

Raine Patterson had the only kill for Stillman in the first set. Six Tigers collected a kill in the second set, and
Gracie Fjeldstad had an ace as Stillman pulled within four points, 20-16, before Talladega closed the set on a 5-0 run. The Tornadoes quickly won the third set after jumping out to 10-1 lead.
Ava Cameron had four kills to lead Stillman, while
Paige Eason and Patterson each had three.
Erin Nelson had seven assists and one ace.
Kelis Conley had six assists. Fjeldstad finished with two service aces.
Emily Powell, Nelson and Eason each had six digs.
Four players each had seven kills to lead Talladega's offense.
Stillman (7-17, 6-8 HBCUAC) currently sits fourth in the HBCU Athletic Conference East Division and seventh overall in the conference standings. The top eight teams will qualify for the HBCU Athletic Conference Volleyball Tournament.
The Tigers will close out the HBCUAC schedule when they host Rust College on Thursday, Oct. 24 for Senior Night. The scheduled start time is 6 p.m.
