Karli Crocker were named the HBCU Athletic Conference Softball Hitter of the Week and Newcomer of the Week honors, respectively, the conference announced Monday, April 13.
Erwin hit .818 (9-for-11) on the week, collecting three hits in each of Stillman's three games to help the Tigers complete their fifth-consecutive HBCUAC three-game series sweep. She had four RBI and eight runs scored. Erwin hit 6-for-7 in a Saturday doubleheader on Senior Day with a home run, double and four RBI. She then hit 3-for-4 on Sunday with another double and RBI. She had 5 stolen bases on the weekend, giving her 31 stolen bases for the season.
Entering the final week of the regular season, Erwin is hitting a conference-best .550 against HBCUAC teams this year and .425 overall. She also leads the HBCUAC during in-conference games in total at bats (60), runs scored (31), total hits (33), triples (3) and stolen bases (24). As of April 12, Erwin also leads the HBCUAC in overall runs (45), hits (51), triples (5), walks (19) and stolen bases (31).
Crocker, a junior transfer from Reform, Ala., earns her first Newcomer of the Week honor after closing out the Tigers' home schedule with a complete-game shutout of Talladega on April 12. She allowed only three hits and struck out six in six innings, securing Stillman's fifth-consecutive HBCUAC three-game series sweep. Crocker is now 5-0 against HBCUAC opponents with a 2.14 ERA (fourth in the conference). She has the sixth-most strikeouts against HBCUAC foes.
Stillman (20-18, 16-2) is currently tied for first place in the HBCU Athletic Conference entering the final week of the 2026 season. Stillman will travel to Voorhees University in Denmark, S.C., for its final three-game conference series on April 18-19.
