OAKVILLE, Ala. - All five Stillman College runners made their Southern States Athletic Conference Women's Cross Country Championships debut Saturday, Nov. 4. 

Junior transfer Valentine Lagat finished 33rd individually in her first NAIA level conference championship 6K with a time of 25:55.6. Three of the remaining four runners posted personal records: Jaiaa Sims (30:12.6, PR), Malaiya Mathews (39:45.4), Jayla Hayward-Wells (45:04.3, PR), La'Diamond Landrum (45:14.4, PR)

The Tigers finished 12th as a team in the meet. Blue Mountain Christian University won the team championship, led by individual winner Catherine Truemper (22:17.8). 

Stillman College concludes its cross country season and will prepare for outdoor track & field season, expected to open in March 2024.
