DALLAS – The Stillman College women's basketball team was tripped up in non-conference play on Thursday evening, falling 73-64 to Paul Quinn College on the road. Senior
Jaida Minter, playing in her hometown, turned in a huge performance for the Tigers, racking up 17 points, seven rebounds, and five assists.

Stillman controlled the opening tip, with a
Jordan Harris layup sparking a 7-0 run to start the night. Seven different Tigers scored in the opening quarter, with Stillman going up 22-13 after the first ten minutes of play. The Tigers went up by as many as 14 in the second quarter, but PQC was able to cut it to a ten-point Stillman heading to the locker room at the half.
Four third-quarter turnovers from Stillman helped Paul Quinn cut their deficit down to five, and a bucket from Tyreshia Sessions gave the home team their first lead of the night with 7:38 left in the game. From there, PQC outscored their guests 21-12 the rest of the way, enough to pull away late and hang on for the win.

- Thursday night was Minter's 12th game of the year scoring 10+ points.
- Harris and Tanyah Lockhart joined Minter in double-figures, going for 12 and 10 points respectively.
- PQC's Tamia Dolls led all scorers with 19 points, including 12 from behind the arc.
- Paul Quinn outrebounded Stillman 45-34 while winning the turnover battle by a margin of 19-17.
- Stillman is now 1-2 in Texas this season, and in two days, the team will play in their seventh different state of the 2025-26 campaign.
