KANSAS City, Mo. – After a stellar weekend performance and being named the HBCU Athletic Conference Player of the Week,
Lauren Haskins has been honored at the national level as she has been named the NAIA Softball Player of the Week.
Haskins was absolutely dominant in her games against Dillard. The senior hit .818 over the weekend with nine hits, nine RBIs, three home runs, a triple and a double. She stole four bases and drew a walk. Haskins finished with 21 total bases and five extra-base hits. Defensively, she posted a .944 fielding percentage with 17 putouts.
The senior from Alabaster, Alabama is carrying a staggering .528 batting average with 56 total hits, 31 RBIs, seven home runs, seven triples and three doubles. On the base paths, she has racked up 42 runs and 27 stolen bases.
