We are near the end of the regular seasons for women's and men's basketball, but as those stars set, another star rises as baseball is set to start the regular season this week. The Women's and Men's bowling teams look to continue working towards the postseason. Let's take a gander at the week ahead for all of Stillman College athletics.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
Jan. 28 - Women's Basketball - Stillman College @ Talladega College - 5 p.m.
Jan. 30 - Women's Basketball - University of Mobile @ Stillman College - 5:30 p.m.
Feb. 1 - Women's Basketball - Stillman College @ Voorhees University - 12 p.m.
The Lady Tigers (16-4, 11-1) are inching closer to clinching the top seed for the upcoming 2025 Hope Credit Union Basketball Championship, and this matchup against the current third-place team in the HBCU Athletic Conference East Division Talladega College (7-8, 7-6) will go a long way to solidifying the top seed. Then on Thursday, Stillman will step out of conference play to host Mobile in the final home contest before Homecoming Week. The Lady Tigers wrap the week with a trip to Denmark, South Carolina, to face Voorhees in HBCUAC action.

The Tigers currently sit 12-7 overall and 10-2 in the HBCUAC East Division. With four games left in conference play, Stillman can clinch the division with a win over Talladega (14-7, 8-5) and a little help from some friends in the west division. There is still work to be done to clinch the top seed in the 2025 Hope Credit Union Basketball Championship as the West Division features two teams with as many conference losses as Stillman. Following the road contest, Stillman will host Mobile in the final home contest before Homecoming Week. It's opening day for Stillman baseball this weekend and the Tigers open the 2025 campaign on the road against Tuskegee University. The Tigers are coming off a 15-31 season and a 6-24 record in Southern Sports Athletics Conference play. After an extended break, the Women's and Men's bowling teams will return to action when they travel to Lawrenceville, Georgia for the NAIA Southeast Open. Teams from all over the region will compete to qualify for the USBC Intercollegiate Singles Sectionals on March 7.
