TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - Stillman College Men's Bowling has competed in three events so far to begin the program's history. The Tigers made their bowling debut Nov. 19-20, at the Spring Hill College Fall Tournament in Mobile, Alabama and recently competed agian, Jan. 29, at the SCAD Baker Bash at Bowlero in Lilburn, Georgia.

George Warnsley and Deshawn Allen represented Stillman in the historical first bowling competition for the Stillman Tigers in November.
On Saturday, Nov. 19, Warnsley led Stillman in individual competition, posting three of the Tigers' top four scores in the tournament to average 144 through seven games. After a slow start, Warnsley bowled 170, 144, 168 and 177 in his final four games.
Patterson bowled the highest individual score for Stillman at 184 in the third game. a low 99 in the sixth game, brought his tournament average down to 140 per game.
Warnsley and Winters were the only Tiger bowlers to bowl above 100 in each game. Winters averaged 116. Batchelor averaged 110.857, while Allen averaged 109.7.
Warnsley and Patterson finished 23rd and 26th, respectively, in total pens. Warnsley was seventh among Southern States Athletic Conference opponents.
Stillman's highest score among seven games on Saturday was a 654 in the fifth game.
Spring Hill College's Joshua Wilson bowled the highest total pin count of 1417 through seven games. University of Central Florida's Zachary Bice rolled the highest game of the tournament with a 244 in the third game.
On Sunday, Nov. 19 in Baker competition, Stillman combined for a 212 in its 14th game, its highest score of 36 Baker games.
The Tigers finished ninth of nine teams on Saturday and eighth of eight teams in baker scoring Sunday, competing against SSAC foes University of Mobile and Blue Mountain College. Spring Hill College won the nine-team tournament, which also included teams from NCAA Division I institutions: UCF, LSU, Florida Gulf Coast, Alabama and Louisiana Tech.
On Sunday, Stillman finished ahead of the University of Mobile in 15 of its 36 Baker Sets, and were ahead of the University of Alabama in eight of 36 games, including two games head-to-head.
In Georgia last month, The Tigers competed in 36 Baker games, compiling 4,931 pins at the SCAD Baker Bash. The best score came in the seventh game at 189. Stillman finished 12th of 12 teams, with the University of Alabama finishing one spot ahead with 5,370 pins. The top eight teams advanced to an eight-team, single-elimination bracket, which was won by Tennessee Wesleyan.

In a Baker Format, created by former American Bowling Congress executive secretary-treasurer Frank K. Baker in 1950, each bowler rotates to bowl two frames in a game.
Stillman College is looking to add more competitions to its schedule this winter in hopes of qualifying for the Southern States Athletic Conference / Sun Conference Championship.
