Stillman College

Rainey will lead the Tigers' pitching staff and work with the catchers. In four seasons at Troy University, Rainey collected 52 wins and carried a career ERA of 3.05. She pitched over 550 innings and recorded 274 strikeouts. She was named to the 2012 All-Sun Belt First Team and was named Sun Belt Pitcher of the Week four times during her career.

A product of Tuscaloosa, Rainey prepped at Tuscaloosa County High School where as a senior she earned All-State honors while hitting .388 with 16 home runs and 48 RBI. She was named the 2011 Player of the Year for West Alabama while going 31-14 in the circle with 314 strikeouts and eight shutouts, including 20 straight shutout innings in the North South Regional Tournament.

Rainey earned a degree in Biology from Troy University. She served as an assistant coach at Hillcrest High School last season.
