Stillman dominates BMCU to run win streak to six

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Stillman College men's basketball team cruised to a 16-point win on Tuesday night, defeating Blue Mountain Christian at Birthright Alumni Hall. The Tigers have now split the season series with the Toppers, improving to 16-9 on the season along the way.

Rapid Recap:
  • The Tigers controlled the opening tip, with D'Angelo Foster scoring the first bucket of the night, sparking a 14-0 Stillman run to begin the night.
  • The home team turned in one of their best offensive stretches of the season in the first half, shooting 55% from the floor to outscore BMCU 46-27 over the first 20 minutes.
  • BMCU bounced back in the second half, outscoring Stillman by three, but the damage had been done, and the Tigers picked up the easy victory.

  • Stillman never trailed at any point in Tuesday's contest.
  • Four Tigers scored in double-figures, with Joshua Price leading the way with 19 points.
  • The Toppers shot just 8% from behind the arc for the night, including an 0-for-6 effort in the first half.
  • Dasean Sellers came away with four blocks, and he now has 10 in his last six games.
  • Adrelin Robinson dished out a game-high five assists, matching Blue Mountain Christian's team in that category.
  • Tuesday was Stillman's fourth-highest scoring game of the year, while the team's ten triples set a new season-high.
  • The Tigers out-rebounded their guests 38-36, but the Toppers won the turnover battle by a margin of 11-7.
