Stillman Earns 95-81 Win Over Baptist University of Florida

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Stillman men's basketball set the tone early and held strong late, earning a 95-81 victory over Baptist University of Florida on Saturday afternoon.

The Tigers carried a 51-45 lead into halftime after an efficient opening 20 minutes that featured crisp ball movement and active hands defensively. Stillman finished the game with 15 steals and forced 17 Baptist turnovers, turning that pressure into consistent scoring opportunities.

Josh Price powered the Stillman attack with a game-high 23 points, adding six assists and five steals while playing 40 minutes. Brandon Howard delivered another steady all-around performance with 22 points and 10 rebounds, knocking down four three-pointers to help the Tigers build momentum in key stretches. Jordan Fordyce added 18 points on 7-for-9 shooting, also contributing three assists and two steals.

Baptist made its push in the second half, but Stillman answered with timely stops and strong work on the glass. The Tigers won the rebounding battle 39-33, including 15 offensive rebounds, and controlled the game at the free throw line by going 21-for-27.

Stillman shot 34-for-70 (48.6 percent) from the field in the win as the Tigers continued to show balance across the lineup and energy on the defensive end.

Stillman will be back in action on Tuesday, January 13, when the Tigers travel to face Paine College. Fans can also mark their calendars for Stillman's next home game on Tuesday, January 20, as the Tigers welcome Oakwood University to Birthright Alumni Hall for a 7:30 p.m. tip-off.
