TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Stillman College men's basketball team held a two-point advantage over the Faulkner University Eagles heading to the half, but a strong second half by the visitors lifted Faulkner to a 78-70 victory Wednesday afternoon in Birthright Alumni Hall.
Stillman dropped to 6-7 overall, while the Eagles improved to 8-4 on the season.

The Tigers built a nine-point lead with 11:54 on the clock when
Jordan Fordyce splashed a three-pointer to move the score to 22-13. Stillman's lead built to 11 points after a layup from Allister Dixon pushed the advantage to 31-20.
However, Faulkner fought all the way back to take a one-point lead with 1:53 on the clock when Gabriel Rivera hit a three-pointer to make the score 38-37. The Tigers went back up by four with 1:15 to go before settling on the 42-40 halftime advantage.
Stillman rebuilt a four-point advantage, 50-46, by the 15:21 mark in the second half after a
Brandon Howard layup, but less than a minute later, free throws from KJ Rogers tied the game at 50-50.
The lead changed four times before the Eagles took control and a nine-point lead on two separate occasions, with the last one coming at 1:56 after free throws from Gideon Harris. Jonathan Crawford hit a three-pointer late to get the Tigers within five points at 75-70 with 58 seconds remaining, but Faulkner used free throws to ice the game and leave with a 78-70 win.

-Four Tigers reached double figures in the contest.
Dasean Sellers led the way with 16 points on 6-of-8 shooting and added seven rebounds.

Brandon Howard posted a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds. He added five assists and a steal.

Johnathan Crawford had 11 points, while
Jordan Fordyce had 10.

Joshua Price dished nine assists alongside eight points and four rebounds.
-Despite the loss, the Tigers controlled the paint and outscored Faulkner 34-24 down low.
