BLUE MOUNTAIN, Miss. – The Stillman College men's basketball team saw a second-half lead go by the wayside as the hosting Blue Mountain Christian University Rams collected a 79-71 victory Friday night.
Stillman fell to 1-4 on the season, while Blue Mountain improved to 2-3 overall.

After an even matchup during the early moments of the game, the Tigers pushed ahead by six points following a layup by
Adrelin Robinson with 10:19 on the clock, moving the score to 17-11. Stillman's largest lead of the game came moments later with 8:48 on the clock when a
Brandon Howard jumper pushed the tally to 19-11.
BMCU worked to tie the game at 26-26 with 2:49 on the clock and took the lead seconds later with a layup from Jamarion Harvey. The Rams went up by four points, but Stillman rallied to take the lead when a layup from Allister Dixon with 35 seconds remaining gave the Tigers a 32-30 halftime lead.
Stillman once more went up by four points after a Howard layup pushed the lead to 40-36 with 16:42 on the clock. The game's final tie came with 11:58 on the clock when Esrael Yant hit a layup for BMCU to make the score 47-47. From there, the Rams built as much as a 15-point lead before settling on the 79-71 win over the Tigers.
Notes and Numbers:
-Josh Price led the way with 20 points, along with four rebounds and two assists.

Adrelin Robinson added 17 points off the bench and posted two rebounds, two assists and two steals.

Brandon Howard finished as the high man on the boards with eight rebounds coupled with nine points.
-Stillman shot an outstanding 85.7 percent (18-of-21) from the free-throw line, including a 13-of-16 effort in the second half.
-The Tigers won the battle of the boards, 33-22.
-The game's difference came in turnovers. Stillman committed 22 turnovers that led to 23 points for BMCU, while 11 Ram miscues helped the Tigers score 16 points in transition.
